Post Malone just picked up his first acting role in a NEW Netflix movie starring Mark Wahlberg, could Cardi B follow his steps and take on an acting role on TV? According to People, Fran Drescher wants Cardi B to play her daughter in a reboot of The Nanny! No word if the reboot will happen, Fran Drescher said she’s totally down with doing it! She quote said, “I don’t know what is going on with some of these networks out there because they do not seem to be hip to the fact that there’s an obsession amongst millennials for the show and moi!” Her dream cast member for the show’s unofficial revival is CARDI B! She told People, quote, “I wanna do a sitcom with Cardi B, she would be great as my daughter, she’s from New York, we both have funny voices, she could be my daughter!’” We think so too, especially after seeing Cardi wearing an animal print outfit and gave Fran Drescher a shout out on IG!
Before you get your hopes up, there’s been no official confirmation that the sitcom would be rebooted! Our fave TV nanny did previously say she and co-creator Peter Marc Jacob are down to bring the comedy back to the small screen! That’s kinda good news right?
