The Most Popular Haunted Location in the U.S. is Right Here in California

It’s spooky season and a lot of people are looking to get in the Halloween spirt by visiting haunted locations. A list of the top 20 most popular haunted locations was released after analyzing web searches and the Winchester Mystery House came in as the most popular haunted destination in the U.S. 

I loved visiting the Winchester Mansion when I was a kid and I swear I felt a chill when I walked into the séance room! Have you ever been? 

The Winchester mansion was owned by Sarah Lockwood Pardee Winchester, a wealthy widow. For 38 years Winchester renovated the mansion adding rooms, staircases that lead to the ceiling, doors that open up to walls. You can learn more about the Winchester mystery house here.
