Despite Matt Lauer still wearing his wedding ring in the picture we posted on Friday after he was seen out and about running errands, his wife reportedly moved out of their home.

Annette Roque not only left the home though, she took two of their three children, Romy who’s 14, and Thijs, who is 11. Jack, their 16 year old, has stayed. Annette took the kids and went to her home in the Netherlands, and is staying with her family there.

She hasn’t had much to say at all during this period after the news of Matt Lauer’s sexual harassment broke. Matt’s ex-wife Nancy has been pretty vocal about the situation, saying that “he’s the best person that’s ever held that job and I couldn’t imagine that anything that he would have done – that would have been so out of character for him – that would have caused that reaction. I never saw him as a power monger or somebody who would abuse his position in any way.”

Keep in mind though that this isn’t the first time Matt’s current wife, Annette, has tried to leave. She filed for divorce back in 2006, saying that Matt was “controlling and cruel.” About 30 days after filing, she withdrew the paperwork.
