Roseanne Spinoff Called “The Connors” Ordered by ABC

Roseanne is returning to TV…without Roseanne. ABC will replace the hit show this fall with “The Conners,” a spinoff starring original cast members John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson and Michael Fishman. Roseanne Barr will not be apart of the series that will take over the 8 p.m. Tuesday time period. Additional cast members and a premiere date will be announced at a later date. If you’re confused, the show was abruptly canceled last month after the actress made a racist remark on Twitter. So what do you think? Will you watch? Or it’s not the same?
