Christopher Dionne, host of HGTV’s Family Flip, is facing some very serious charges.
Radar Online is reporting that the TV star has been arrested for reportedly molesting a little girl.
According to a police report, the assault took place at Dionne’s house while his own children were in the room. The victim is a friend of his kids, and was apparently there for a sleepover. After his own children had fallen asleep, the HGTV host allegedly took pictures of the child and touched her naked body. He also asked her if she wanted to “touch and kiss his penis.”
Although he told the girl not to tell anyone, she went to police soon after. Dionne later turned himself over to the police.
However, he gave his own story of the event of that night. According to him, he sat down next to the girl and she wrapped her arms around him began rubbing his belly. He says he told her that was inappropriate and “big-girl stuff.” She began crying, and so he rubbed her back until she fell back asleep.
Dionne is facing charges of fourth degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.
