It’s not a “teenage dream” if there’s no (semi) nudity in it, right? Well, at least that’s what we think [lastfm]Katy Perry[/lastfm] was going for when she posed nude on a cotton candy cloud for the cover of her forthcoming album, aptly titled Teenage Dream. (Come back here on August 24th to watch her streaming concert Live on Letterman.) Of course, she’s not the first to get naked in the name of art, but it’s been a while since we last seen anyone strip it all off on album covers. With that said, we present our list of the top 10 sexiest sleeve designs featuring a plethora of artistic nudity.
Katy Perry kicks off our list, and is one of our favorite artists. Katy will take the stage of the Ed Sullivan Theater on August 24, 2010 (5pm PT/8pm ET) as part of the latest installment of the series Live on Letterman. Catch this streaming concert live from the Late Show with David Letterman stage the very same day Katy’s album Teenage Dream drops.
The video for her latest single “California Gurls” is already one of the biggest hits of the summer and has recently been nominated for two MTV Video Music Awards. Tune in to Live on Letterman for the first chance to catch the pop goddess performing her soon-to-be hits as well as popular songs from her first album One Of The Boys.
To prep her fans for her new album, Katy has released two lyric videos for tracks off Teenage Dream. Here are “Not Like the Movies” and “Teenage Dream.”
