Female ‘E! News’ Host Leaving After Learning Her Male Co-Host Makes Almost Double

Catt Sadler is saying goodbye to ‘E! News’ after learning that her co-host, Jason Kennedy, makes nearly DOUBLE her salary!

Catt Sadler is saying goodbye to E! News after learning that her co-host, Jason Kennedy, makes nearly DOUBLE her salary!

NYDailyNews.com says that while Catt was negotiating her new contract with E! News, she said that she found out that: “he [Jason] wasn’t just making a little more than I was. In fact, he was making close to double my salary for the past several years.”

She chose to leave the network after finding out the news and is sharing her story to shed more light on the gender wage gap.

She was also quick to defend Jason Kennedy, saying: “It’s important that people don’t vilify him because he isn’t the problem — the system’s the problem, the structure’s the problem.”

Catt, a single mother of two, is currently looking for another job within television.
