WalletHub does an annual study that ranks the healthiest cities in America based on 43 factors. Like the cost of medical visits to fruit and vegetable consumption to how many people are physically active and how many gyms are the city.
Drumroll, please… San Francisco is #1 Healthiest Places to Live in the U.S. this year! It ranked overall highest in four categories with a total score of 74.99. And the top four cities are all West Coast cities. Sacramento landed in the 26th spot with a score of 54.57 overall. Here’s the Top 10:
Out of the 174 cities they studied, Brownsville, Texas ranked last, making it the Unhealthiest City in 2020, followed by Laredo, Texas, Gulfport, Mississippi, Shreveport, Louisiana, and Memphis, Tennessee. Check out the full list of America’s Healthiest and Unhealthiest Cities in 2020 here!
