Most people would NOT try to stop a robbery, especially when it involves three men, armed with hammers and a sawn-off shotgun unless you’re Super Grandpa! According to Extra.ie, 83-year-old Denis O’Connor saved the safe at Bar One Racing bookmaker in County Cork, Ireland on Saturday, Sept. 15th.
The office manager Tim Murphy was working behind the desk, while three men, armed with hammers and a sawn-off shotgun walked into the bookmaker store, attempting to rob the safe and register. Denis  “Super Grandpa” O’Connor, was in the shop at the time of the robbery and helped the manager chase all three burglars out the door despite having the gun pointed in their direction.
In the video below, you’ll see Denis O’Connor wrestling one of the robbers and then chasing him out of the shop, then you’ll see him throw a chair after them, while the third male pointed the gun directly at his head!

Bookmakers manager, Tim Murphy said “Super Grandpa,” was calling the robbers ‘cowards’ before taking down the final thief and giving him a kick when chasing him off! We salute you Super Grandpa!
