Darik sits down with Tom Summerfelt from Feeding America, a national organization that partners with 200 Food Banks around the country with the mission of working together to end hunger. 

On this week’s #Instagood, Darik sits down with Eddie Fam of Meant 2 Live Foundation. Meant 2 Live supports educational, medical, culinary, musical and spiritual development programs that empower disadvantaged youth around the world.

Darik chats with Kirk Norman of Just Serve about motivating service in Sacramento. They discuss helping refugees new to Sacramento, how to help with community parks and recreation and how to find organizations in our area that fit your interests to be involved.

Darik sits down with Jeff Stephens of SAYlove organization and Virgil Atkinson of JustServe.org. SAYlove is a grassroots citizen organization formed to care and support the Yuba-Sutter area and cleaning up our community.

We’re motivating service in the community along with JustServe this week as Darik sits down with Roseville Native and Army Sergeant, Kevin Snyder-Diffin. Kevin talks about his involvement in the National Guard Youth Challenge, remembering 9/11 on the 20th anniversary of the attacks and his two tours of duty in Afghanistan.

As we motivate service in Sacramento with JustServe.org this week on Instagood, Darik discusses the state of public health, COVID-19 and the increasing threat of the Delta variant with Pavan Lohia. Pavan is director and founder of PavLyfe, an organization that focuses on public health and education.

This week on Instagood, Darik speaks with President of the Auburn Interfaith Food Closet, Andy Hayes, about feeding the Sacramento area community. The Auburn Interfaith Food Closet provides nutritious food to those in need, preserving their dignity and encouraging self-reliance.

This week on Instagood, Darik visits Acres of Hope. A non-profit that walks families through the process of change, healing and growth that they need to completely overcome the cycles of homelessness, trauma, addiction and poverty.
