Yes, there are flights as cheap as $49 but we couldn’t find any of them in California BUT you can grab flights as low as $59/one way out of SMF to Burbank, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Ontario, and more at SouthwestAirlines.com. EliteDaily.com says that you have to purchase your tickets by tomorrow (5/02/19) and that:
“the tickets are nonrefundable, and you need to purchase your discounted ticket 21 days ahead of your planned travel — so you should start mapping out your summer getaways ASAP.”
And with any good travel deal, there’s always fine print. Here’s a couple of things to keep in mind as you book your plane tickets from SouthwestAirlines.com about these sale fares:
- 21-day advance purchase required.
- Purchase from April 30 through May 2, 2019, 11:59 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time.
- Continental U.S. travel valid May 21 through June 12, 2019, and August 20 through October 30, 2019. Interisland Hawaii travel valid May 21 through October 1, 2019. Travel to/from San Juan, Puerto Rico valid September 4 through October 31, 2019. International travel valid August 20 through October 30, 2019.
- Continental U.S. travel blacked out May 23-24, May 27, August 30, and September 2, 2019.
