Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino of Jersey Shore fame is heading to the slammer for tax evasion…
According to TMZ, the reality TV star will be spending eight months behind bars. While he was facing up to five years in prison, prosecutors pushed for the judge to go easy on him. However, his brother, Marc Sorrentino, was not so lucky. The judge sentenced him to two years in prison and a $75,000 fine for the same charges.
The Situation was not the only Jersey Shore star to show up at the court today, though. In fact, Snooki, Pauly D, JWoww, Ronnie, Vinnie, and Deena all came to show support for their friend.

Sorrentino plead guilty to the charges back in January of this year. He previously faced 15 years and a $250,000 fine, but he struck a deal with the prosecutors. He was previously supposed to receive his sentence back in April, but things were delayed so his lawyers could resubmit documents as part of the plea deal.
It’s still unclear how this will affect the recent Jersey Shore reboot.
