The Jersey Shore reunion is happening this year, but Mike Sorrentino might not be there for long…

According to TMZ, the reality star just plead guilty in his tax evasion case. As it turns out, “The Situation” never paid his full tax bill on the almost $9 million he made between 2010 and 2012.

While he now faces up to 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, it could have been much worse. Had he stuck with his not guilty plea, he could have gone through 15 years in prison.

His lawyers are currently pushing for leniency in his sentencing, but he won’t learn what his full punishment is until later this year.

However, it’s not all bad news; the judge is allowing him to travel to Florida to shoot Jersey Shore Family Vacation.
