Ways Our Local Graduating Seniors Are Being Celebrated

Trying to figure out the best way to make your graduating senior feel special during these times? Local schools in the area are trying their best to make sure each and every student gets to feel some recognition of being the class of 2020.
According to Good Day Sacramento, two alumni of Rocklin High School put together “Mugs for Seniors”, along with lanyards and key chains, all saying class of 2020. How did they get this stuff you ask? By the good people of their communities pitching in things for donations!
While we know this year isn’t what we pictured for our graduating seniors, Grant High school found it upon themselves to do a drive-by graduation. All seniors of class of 2020 got dressed up in their cap and gown, decorated cars and drove by! For the end of the drive you could get out of the car and take a photo on the stage with the banner saying class of 2020! While this wasn’t your normal graduation ceremony, it did soften and bring joy to the students of Grant High school.
Other ways you can help show the accomplishments of your graduating seniors is to post on social media. One great example is St.Francis High School’s post to their Instagram. They call the post “Senior Pearl Spotlight”, giving details on what the student accomplished in the four years, what college they are attending, and many other fun facts about the graduating senior!
Just like all high schools, we want to make sure our class of 2020 knows how special they are! Keep looking around for all the great things happening in your community to honor your seniors during these tough times!
