The VMA’s were filled with shocking outfits, yet, some not so shocking winners.
It should come as no surprise that Old Town Road took the ‘W’ last night as the VMA’s song of the year. The summer tune you can’t help but sing has been at the top of the charts for weeks and led Lil Nas X to his first award ever!
Taylor Swift on the other hand is thinking “you need to calm down” as she adds to her collection of awards with the Video of the Year award! Her 2019 VMA look included a pop of color, a catchy pop melody, and a continued pop fan base that she wows song after song. Congrats T-Swift!
With endless talent and countless amazing performances, the VMA’s were a must see. Ariana Grande was awarded Artist of the Year, Billie Eilish as Best New Artist, and Missy Elliot as Video Vanguard winner!
Although the 2019 VMA’s are over, we all know the outfits will live on forever…
