Drake’s got some explaining to do. Tiffany Haddish revealed on Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Red Table Talk that the rapper once stood her up on a date!
When the interview steered towards Haddish’s dating life, she responded: “I would like to date. I really don’t have a lot of time for it, but when somebody asks me out on a date that I’m interested in and like hanging out with, I will clear the schedule. I will make some time.”
The comedian didn’t hesitate, as is her way, after Pinkett-Smith asked if there was a person recently that made her clear her schedule. According to HelloGiggles, Haddish revealed that Drake did ask her out while the two were filming the “Nice for What” video. Not only did she make time for Drake, she also spent a lot of time preparing for the date:
“Like, shoot, I go get my mustache waxed, get my armpits waxed, got me a nice little dress. Then I’m like, ‘So what time are we heading out? Are you sending a car? Where we going?’ And then he’s like, ‘Oh man, my bad, family emergency. I’m in Canada right now.'”

The Night School actress let it roll off her back, though, and had a hilarious response: “I was like, ‘Okay. Okay! I could have made $100,000 today, but I was trying to see what that D do. But all right!’”
In all seriousness, Haddish is totally owning and enjoying her single status right now. She continued to say:
“I love me a lot. Guaranteed to be satisfied over here when it’s with me.”
