Do you like a six-pack or a “dad-bod”? A new study says that women find guys with a beer belly more attractive AND they actually live longer!

Countryrebel.com says  a “dad bod” is when a man is carrying around 10 to 20 extra pounds – (think beer bellies) –  and according to a new study, women prefer those “dad-bods” to fit men!

So why are the “dad-bods” so popular? The study found that people think positively about dad bods and: “78% of women felt that men with dad bods were confident in their own skin. 47% of women believe dad bods are the new six-pack, while 83% of mothers would be proud and happy to have a husband who rocks a beer-bellied dad bod.”

And not only are “dad-bods” perceived as more attractive, but the article says that a professor at Yale says that those with a dad bod are actually healthier than lean men in the long run!

So why is that? The article says:

“Weight gain is caused by lower levels of testosterone, which leads to a stronger immune system. Stronger immune systems lead to a longer life.”

Which kind of body type do you go for?
