The man that Adam Levine himself holds responsible to the success that the band has had, their manager Jordan Feldstein unfortunately passed away on December 23rd, just a couple days before Christmas, due to a heart attack. He was just 40 years old. He called 911 on the 23rd to report shortness of breath, and died from the heart attack before paramedics could arrive.
He founded “Career Artist Management,” and even played negotiator for Adam Levine for his contract to judge on The Voice. Jordan is also the brother of actor Jonah Hill, from movies like “The Wolf of Wall Street,” “21 Jump Street,” and “Superbad.” Jordan and Adam were actually childhood friends, and he’s been the band’s manager for the past 15 years.
The funeral has already taken place, and speaking at the funeral, Career Artist Management’s General Manager Adam Harrison gave a very heartfelt and emotional speech, saying that Jordan was known around his office and a fantastic teacher, “a leader in every sense of the word,” that “he was always 2 steps ahead” of everyone else,” and he could “always see the big picture.”
We haven’t heard any word from Adam Levine or anyone else from the band (or other clients), but it’s obvious that everyone who knew Jordan is devastated, and we’re sure they’re all taking time to handle things. Jordan will live on in his two kids, his parents (Richard and Sharon), and siblings (Jonah Hill and Lady Bird actress Beanie Feldstein) were all present.
