The Warwickshire Police Department gained a lot of attention recently for a hilarious computer-generated suspect sketch it released. What’s funnier is that the officers were totally serious about this being a legitimate render.
The man is wanted for distracting a woman while his partner robbed her home. The department created the sketch based on the victim’s description and posted it online, reports Fox. The officers hoped that the public could help catch and identify the man.

The post got so popular that the police station sent out a follow-up tweet, writing:
“We can confirm that this is real and that we anticipated the attention! But jokes aside, it was created from a description provided and it’s serious as a woman was victim of a horrible crime. Hopefully the attention will mean we identify the offender/bring him to justice quicker”

Many are now rooting for the police to find the man so that they can compare the mugshot with the sketch. We’re definitely curious to compare the two!
