One of the OG dating sites, Plenty of Fish, surveyed thousands of users to predict dating trends that daters will experience in 2024. As a single person this makes me want to date even less! Here are some of the new dating terms.
Rizz Colored Glasses – When individuals are drawn into relationships with charismatic and charming people
Smashing the Date-triarchy – Becoming increasingly less inclined to settle into the type of relationship that society expects of you and choosing your own path instead
Contra-dating – dating outside of your type
Groundhog Day-ting – taking your 1st dates to the same place because it’s comfortable and familiar
