FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - JULY 14: A Delta airlines plane is seen as it comes in for a landing at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on July 14, 2016 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Delta Air Lines Inc. reported that their second quarter earnings rose a better-than-expected 4.1%, and also announced that they decided to reduce its United States to Britian capacity on its winter schedule because of foreign currency issues and the economic uncertainty from Brexit.

Plane Makes Emergency Landing Because Passengers Have To ‘Go Really Bad’

I think we’ve all been there, you’re traveling and all of a sudden you have to go to the bathroom really bad. When you gotta go, you gotta go!

I think we’ve all been there, you’re traveling and all of a sudden you have to go to the bathroom really bad.

Now imagine if you’re on a long flight and all of a sudden the toilets stop working on the plane.

That’s what happened on a 6-hour Delta flight from New York City to Seattle Saturday night. The pilots were forced to make an unscheduled pit stop, or “potty break,” as the Billings Gazette puts it, in Billings, Montana.

The Boeing 757 had to divert roughly 200 miles after its toilets stopped working and passengers basically couldn’t hold it the rest of the way.

They apparently had to go so badly, per a Delta incident report, that when they found no gate available at Billings Logan International Airport the plane taxied to a cargo area. A rolling staircase was used to allow fliers in need to deplane quickly and “find relief of built-up pressures.”

At least “business” was taken cared of. There’s nothing worse than THAT feeling.
