Mystery Couple From Yosemite Proposal Photo Has Been Found
The mystery couple, from the viral proposal photo at Yosemite National Park, has been identified by the photographer after a month of searching.

The couple featured in the viral proposal photo in Yosemite earlier this month has been identified.
According to KSL.com, the photographer who capture the photo, Matthew Dippel, has finally tracked down the couple. On October 6, Dippel took the photo of Taft Point, with a man on bended knee and a woman with her arm outstretched in the distance. Dippel then took to social media to attempt to contact and identify the couple.

The search finally came to an end on Saturday, October 27. Dippel announced that he had identified the man as Charlie Bear and his fiancee, Melissa. The engaged couple was also revealed to be from Alhambra, California.

When contacting Dippel, Bear told the photographer that he had “captured the second proposal, the more special and official one.” Dippel responded by thanking Bear and expressing his gratitude for being able to “share this special moment”.
