Lea Michele Will Be Playing Ariel In ‘Little Mermaid’ Anniversary Show
Lea Michele of ‘Glee’, will be portraying the character of Ariel, in the special anniversary show of ‘The Little Mermaid’.

Lea Michele is set to portray Ariel, for a special, two-night performance of The Little Mermaid.
According to Entertainment Weekly, The Hollywood Bowl made an announcement that the venue would host a revival of the live production. This performance will mark the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the beloved animated Disney film.
The Glee star will lead the show as Ariel, and will be joined by Peter Gallagher playing King Triton, Leo Gallo as Prince Eric, and Harvey Fierstein as Ursula. The cast will reportedly perform songs from the Oscar and Grammy-winning soundtrack. During the performance, screens will also play the film, as a live orchestra performs the score live.

Songs from the film, such as “Kiss the Girl” and “Under the Sea”, are set to be performed at the Hollywood Bowl. Additionally, songs from the Broadway production will also be included. For the production, the Hollywood Bowl will be decorated to match the undersea theme with digital projections. The Little Mermaid 30th anniversary performance will debut May 17 and 18.
