A truck full of hotdogs went up in flames over the weekend, and nobody even bothered to bring mustard or ketchup.

Ok, sorry for that bad headline. But really though, a truck full of hotdogs caught fire over the weekend. It happened in Nebraska, and nobody was injured.
The fire started early Saturday morning, and completely destroyed the truck and its cargo. The cargo, of course, was hotdogs. A staple of summer cookouts everywhere, right up there next to burgers. Like we mentioned, nobody was hurt in the fire, except for traffic. Cars were backed up for hours since two lanes of the road had to be closed for cleanup. No word on if there were buns or condiments, but we’re sure it smelled delicious, along with the smell of burning truck. Ok for real this time, I’m done with the bad jokes. Here’s a tweet from the State Patrol:
Good morning, Troop A!! This isn’t exactly the kind of Saturday cook out we’re in favor of, but this is the aftermath of a semi truck loaded with hot dogs going up in flames on the West Dodge Expressway. Luckily no one was hurt…Just hungry… #nspomaha pic.twitter.com/gDJtJ7c1ff

Police are still investigating the fire, trying to determine the cause of the blaze. And no, we won’t say “hunger.” D’oh! Just did. See some more on the story here.
