Apparently Lana Del Rey is venturing into country! The singer wrote a couple country songs with Jack Antonoff, which she performed on Dec. 5 at the Ally Coalition in New York.
“Me and Jack wrote a couple of country songs just for fun. So we thought we’d play them,” Del Rey said. She then performed two songs, “I Must Be Stupid For Being So Happy” and the other “Hey Blue Baby” with Antonoff.
For those unaware, Antonoff is quite prolific in the music industry. He’s not only the Bleachers frontman, but he’s also written hits for stars like Taylor Swift and Lorde, as well as many others. He co-organized the event last night to raise funds for homeless and at-risk LGBTQ youth. Fun., Regina Spektor, and Taylor Swift were among performers at the benefit show.
