A soccer coach at John F. Kennedy High School is in custody on suspicion of human trafficking, according to Fox 40.
Deputies got a call early Christmas morning from a girl who was hiding in someone’s backyard in South Sacramento. She said a man was waiting for her nearby who was forcing her into performing sexual acts. Deputies found the man, 34-year-old Elan Seagraves in a car nearby with another girl inside who they believe was also being trafficked. Seagraves was listed on the Kennedy High School roster as the JV and Varsity coach as of late Friday. He is also a referee in some local youth soccer leagues and he’s a Lyft and Uber driver.
He is being held on $2 million bail.
