Surprise, surprise Katy Perry is Forbes Highest-Paid Female Artist of 2018! She made $83 million over the past year making more than her competitors in the music industry, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and Pink. Forbes calculated the money they made from merchandise and album sales, licensing, publishing royalties, endorsements, and touring.

For the annual Forbes list, earnings start from June 1, 2017, through June 1, 2018, Katy Perry took the number 1 spot with $83 million, thanks to the 80 date “Witness: The Tour,” which made over $1 million per night PLUS her $20 million paycheck for her judging stint on the American Idol reboot. Taylor Swift is next on the list with making $80 million, Beyonce, $60 million, and Pink, $52 million. I expected to see artists like Halsey, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, and Mariah Carey to make the list but nope, they made eight figures. Check out the Highest-Paid Women in Music Of 2018 list below
