Here’s why Kanye West passed on the EPIC gig, he refused to perform on the traditional 60×40-foot stage provided at the festival because he felt it was “artistically limiting ” and they had some creative differences about his set design according to TMZ. Fans were hella excited to see their Queen Ariana Grande was set on the bill as Coachella’s headliner. Festival sources revealed to TMZ that having Ariana on the bill was to send a message about female empowerment, continuing a trend with Bjork, Beyonce, and Lady Gaga started before her.
