Jimmy Kimmel is back again this year to host the Oscars, but he’s feeling a little stressed still about the ‘Best Picture’ problem they had last year.

Jimmy Kimmel recorded a new promo video for the Oscars this year, in which he says he’s being haunted by last year’s Oscars debacle. In case you’re not familiar with or have forgotten what happened last year, “La La Land” was announced as the winner in the “Best Picture” category, when in reality it should have been “Moonlight.” Normally that wouldn’t be such a huge issue, but the cast and crew of “La La Land” got onto the stage, and a few of them gave a speech before the error was realized, then corrected. It was a mess. Details on that here.

This year, Jimmy Kimmel stars in a little comedy-sketch routine in a promo video where he’s seeking therapy about the hosting gig, and reveals that he has nightmares about the mistake, it haunts him daily, he can’t open envelopes without feeling stressed, and that “The worst part is they want me to do it again.” Then the camera looks over to Kimmel’s therapist, and we won’t spoil the rest for you. Check out the promo video just below:

The Oscars air in March this year, on the 4th. There will be a new process for envelope delivery and confirmation in use as well, and it will pass through the hands of at least 4 people who will each check the contents for accuracy and clarity before it’s delivered to the stage for announcement. Should be mostly error-free. Should.
