Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino married his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Pesce, on November 1.

According to People, the couple tied the knot at The Legacy Castle in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. Photos of the Jersey Shore star and his wife showed Sorrentino in a black tuxedo, and Pesce in a beautiful gown with lace accents.

Sorrentino and Pesce’s relationship reportedly began when the two met in community college. Sorrentino shared insight on their relationship, saying: “We went out together for about four years, and then once Jersey Shore started we decided to take a break throughout seasons 1-6.” He continued, saying: “Once [the show] was over, we eventually reconnected and have been together ever since, for over four years now.”

Sorrentino first popped the question on Valentines Day earlier this year, with the engagement proposal playing out on Jersey Shore Family Vacation in June. This wedding comes just two months before Sorrentino will serve his eight-month prison sentence. He was indicted for tax offenses in September 2014, and pled guilty to tax evasion in January of this year.

A source for Sorrentino reported that “[Sorentino] looks forward to completing his sentence and coming home to Lauren, family and friends.”
