Instagram is continuing to grow quickly, and so are these celebrities and trends that topped the list as most popular in 2017.

Unofficially, anyway. Selena Gomez had quite the impressive year on Social media, determined after Instagram published their official stats for the year.
First up, let’s look at the most-followed people on Instagram.
5) Kim Kardashian (104 million followers)
4) Beyonce (108 million)
3) Ariana Grande (115 million)
2) Cristiano Ronaldo (116 million)
1) Selena Gomez (Significant lead with 130 million followers)
130 million is nothing to sneeze at, but how about actual “likes” on posts? Here are the most liked posts of 2017 on Instagram. Actually, we’ll just give you this: Selena Gomez had the 3rd, 6th, 7th, 9th and 10th most-liked posts of 2017. Beyonce had the 1st and 4th most-liked posts, and Cristiano Ronaldo took the 2nd, 5th and 8th spot. Only 3 people made the top-10 most-liked posts list.
