’90s kids rejoice! Hilary Duff is down for a Lizzie McGuire reboot!
During an interview with Buzzfeed, the actress said:
“Honestly, the idea sounded terrible two years ago when reboots were happening, but you never know. I don’t know. I loved ‘Lizzie McGuire’ and it might be really fun to see where she is now.”

Hilary also revealed when she last saw the cast: “About two years ago I saw Lalaine [who played Miranda] and Jake Thomas [who played her brother Matt] bowling together at the bowling alley. They were like three lanes away from me and it was crazy, because I hadn’t seen them in so long. So, that was really fun.”
“And I stay in touch with Adam [who played Gordo] through email, often,” she added.
So who knows? Maybe with a great script, the beloved Lizzie McGuire just might make a return.
