Calling all singers, musicians, poets, and artists across Sacramento, get paid to liven up the streets of Midtown this summer! Yes, that means you can finally perform all the material you’ve been practicing in quarantine in public and show 916 what you got! The Midtown Association is using musicians, poets, and street buskers to draw positive attention back to our beloved Midtown as it starts to slowly re-open. Here’s what you need to know to apply for the gig!

Local performers are encouraged to apply for Midtown’s Bands Together: Summer Busking Program, from June through September at multiple sites throughout Midtown, and the Alhambra Corridor performances will take place on Friday and Saturday evenings according to an Instagram post. Entertainers need to fill out the application before Friday, May 29, and Midtown Association will select performers to fill the summer schedule! All artists will be asked to perform for up to two hours and will be PAID for each performance! Get more info and apply HERE!
