Wildlife.ca.gov says that California’s Free Fishing Days are Saturday, July 7 and Saturday, September 1 2018.
This is the perfect time to go fishing for free or try it if you’ve never fished before!
“On these days, you can fish without a sport fishing license. Free Fishing Days provide a great, low-cost way to give fishing a try.”
