Is this the end for Fifth Harmony? Normani Kordei, one fourth of the girl band, has reportedly signed a solo deal. This is consequently sparking rumors about a group split.

Camila Cabello famously left the group (with some hard feelings) to pursue a solo career in 2016. Then, NME reports, rumors spread last month that Lauren Jauregui would sign with Epic Records for her own album.

Normani has signed with Stellar Songs, the same publishing company as Sam Smith, for a songwriting deal.

As a result, some fans are worried that this may mean the end of Fifth Harmony. However, the girls have denied the rumors of a split. Lauren told Forbes:

“We’re all in a space right now where we are giving each other the space to explore ourselves and be honest with each other and open with each other about what we’re doing.”

She also added:

“Obviously, Fifth Harmony is the number one priority for all of us, and we have a single out now called ‘Por Favor’ and you know there’s a lot of stuff coming up. Next, we’re going on tour around Asia and Australia. And we just got off of one in South America.”
