Dwayne Johnson had a heartfelt “thank you” for first responders who helped out with an emergency involving his 2-year-old daughter. He didn’t explain much about what actually happened to his daughter, but he did say they spent the night in the hospital.

This past Saturday night, Dwayne experienced a pretty big scare. He’s usually on top of handling situations, he knows CPR, he’s good about staying calm and focussed in situations, and will always jump in to help someone, but whatever happened was apparently a big enough emergency that he needed a hand. He uploaded a video to Instagram in which he thanked everyone involved with helping his little girl, including the 911 dispatcher, LA Fire Department, First Responders, Doctors and Nurses at the hospital – everyone in the chain. He credits their quick response for saving his little girl, and stresses the importance of calling for help as soon as possible when the situation arises.

He finishes by saying that one of the more important things to consider is that “our babies” will pick up on whatever we’re feeling at the time of the incident. If we’re panicked and scared, obviously they will be too, but if we remain calm, they’ll sort of keep calm as well, obviously depending on the situation. But, whatever the situation is, it sounds like his daughter was awake and aware of whatever was happening at the time, so maybe we can cross off drowning or something like that from the list. Whatever happened, we’re glad that his daughter is ok, and we don’t have worse news to report. Check here for some more details.
