Drake’s Brewing Co. Opening A Giant Biergarten Next Week In West Sacramento

After two years in the works, The Barn from Drake’s Brewing Co. will open for business next week. The official date is Wednesday, October 24.

This place is HUGE! According to Sactown Magazine, The Barn is a two-acre space with a 30,000 square foot lawn. It has a beautiful wood pavilion designed by famed architect Jerry van Eyck. In fact, the pavilion has already won a first place International Design Award (IDA). Oh, and of course it has a lot of beer options. We’re talking 50 taps and a 400 seat biergarten.

Remember that giant lawn? It includes a bunch of fire pits and lawn games. There is also PizzaSmith, a thin-crust pizza restaurant. Plus, as time goes on, there will be a small craft cocktail bar and food trucks galore.
