Stefano Gabbana, one of the founders of Dolce & Gabbana, commented that Selena Gomez was “ugly” on Instagram.
The designer made the comment on a post by The Catwalk Italia. The account posted pictures of Selena wearing red dresses, asking fans to pick their favorite look.
Stefano wrote “è proprio brutta!!!” which translates to “it’s really ugly!!!” However, according to Mic, the Instagram translation tool converts it directly to “she’s so ugly.”

Many of the “Wolves” singer’s fans fired back at Stefano in the comments. They called him out for being a bully, but he seemed unfazed by the backlash.
Both Stefano and his co-founder, Domenico Dolce, have been facing heat for choices made in their past, reports Nylon. One such incident was when the brand released a shoe called the “slave sandal” back in 2016.
