David Harbour, who plays Chief Hopper on Netflix’s Stranger Things, dressed in full costume and officiated a fan’s wedding over the weekend. The ceremony and special guest all came together after the fan’s tweet went viral, requesting Harbour to perform their wedding.
According to Hello Giggles, Harbour posted a picture on social media that showed him marrying the lucky couple in Springfield, Illinois. In his post, Harbour acknowledged his relative silence and secrecy over the past few months, but wished to thank his fans for their support and share the moment of fulfilling the promised wedding with them.

Harbour’s appearance and role in the wedding delighted all the guests, with many taking photos alongside the actor and thanking him for his involvement with the special day. The bride herself expressed her gratitude, saying: “[Harbour] was so awesome yesterday. We had such a great time!!! Thank you so, so much!!”.
