The expectations of the next Bachelor did not meet the standards of the show’s fans, and they were not quiet about ABC’s decision on social media. 26-year-old Colton Underwood was announced as the next Bachelor on GMA Tuesday morning. You may remember Colton Underwood as the former NFL football player, who was placed fourth on the recent season of The Bachelorette and appeared on the fifth season of Bachelor in Paradise will be looking for his wife on season 23 of ABC’s The Bachelor.

Underwood made a special appearance on GMA Tuesday morning to announce and talk about his journey becoming the next Bachelor, saying, “I’m very excited. Third time’s the charm, that’s what they say, right? That’s what I’m hoping for!”
