Bette Midler Will Be Joining The ‘Hocus Pocus’ Reunion Special

Bette Midler has announced that she will be joining the 25th anniversary special of ‘Hocus Pocus’, which will feature cast reunions and premiere on October 20.

Bette Midler has finally confirmed that she will be joining the rest of the Hocus Pocus cast for the reunion special. After the 25th anniversary special was announced last month, fan eagerly awaited to see if Midler would be joining the party.

According to Yahoo.com, Midler released a video on social media, announcing her involvement in full Hocus Pocus spirit. On the YouTube page for Freeform, the channel airing the special, Midler made the reveal in her character’s voice from the film. “Wait, wait a minute, what’s a Sanderson sister celebration without Winifred?” she asked mischievously.

In the video, the announcement confirmed that Midler will be joining fellow Hocus Pocus stars, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy and Thora Birch for the special. Bette Midler had previously been teasing the reveal on her social media channels, posting pictures and videos from the film. She then confirmed her involvement and excitement for the event on Twitter, writing: “What a hoot! Join us as we fly!”

The 25th anniversary special for Hocus Pocus is set to premiere on October 20. The two-hour event will air on Freeform as part of their 31 Nights of Halloween.
