Ariana Grande brought back the 90’s nostalgia, with her surprise guest during her Coachella performance.
According to Nylon, Grande brought out almost all the members of *NSYNC to join her for one of her sets. Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, JC Chasez, and Chris Kirkpatrick made up the boy band reunion, only missing Justin Timberlake, who was finishing his own solo tour. Together, they all sang “Tearin’ Up My Heart”, much to the enjoyment of the fans at Coachella.
Grande took on the parts originally sung by Timberlake, expertly fitting in with the dynamics of the popular singing group. During the set, *NSYNC also backed up Grande for the song “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored.” Ariana had trouble containing her excitement, telling the crowd: “I’ve been rehearsing my whole life for this moment.”
