After a Texas woman’s mugshot was published and shared on the Twitter account ‘Mugshot Baes,’ it went viral with people asking for makeup tips.

A Texas woman’s mugshot went viral after it was posted on the Twitter account “Mugshot Baes.”
Marshala Perkins, 19, was arrested for marijuana possession on Feb. 6, according to Star-Telegram. After her picture landed on “Mugshot Baes,” a Twitter that features attractive arrested women, her life changed.
Thousands of people commented on the photo, with many women asking Perkins for makeup tips. “We need a tutorial! Free her!” one user wrote.

Perkins is an aspiring makeup artist, and had just finished a Facebook Live tutorial prior to being arrested.
“I sat in my car for two minutes waiting on my friends and while I was waiting a police car pulled up right behind me,” she said. The officer smelled marijuana in her car and found two grams in the vehicle, leading to her arrest.
Although she was first embarrassed about the whole situation, she now appreciates what it’s done for her. “Someone has reached out to me about starting my own makeup line. It’s crazy. My mind is blown,” Perkins added. “Now it’s turned into something so positive so I’m just going to embrace it and see where it takes me.”
