Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Mara Martin recently shocked the audience while walking a runway in Miami, Florida.
According to The Sun, the reason for their surprise was due to something unusual Martin did as she walked. In what may be a modelling first, Martin breastfed her baby as she strutted in front of the huge crowd.

The model gave birth only a few months ago, and she had her baby backstage with her during the Sports Illustrated show. While she reportedly never planned on bringing her onstage during her catwalk, she had to change her plans when it was time to go. According to MTO News, her daughter, Aria, starting crying right as she needed to hit the stage. Rather than leave her daughter with strangers, she decided to improvise and take her with her.

Thankfully, her choice seems to have paid off, and an overwhelming majority thought the move was amazing. One woman wrote:
“Keeping it real, showing love and affection to your children outside of the home sets an example as to how to raise your children.”
Another said:
“Wow, amazing! More women should do that!”
