Justin Bieber performed at Coachella this past weekend in an event called “Churchella” presented by Churchome.
The pop star held a tiny, unannounced Christian-inspired set at a tent during the festival. This is the first time that Justin’s performed since his cancelled Purpose tour last summer.
According to Relevant Magazine, Justin is close with Churchome’s lead pastor, Judah Smith. So it likely wasn’t by complete random that Justin chose to appear for the set.

The set was certainly different from what’s normally associated with a Bieber performance. It was very small and intimate with one a few people in attendance.
