By now you know that Chipotle came out with queso a few months back. Something people wanted for a very, very long time. The only problem was, a very limited amount of people actually liked it. I have to be honest, it was a bit flavorless and not very hot (temperature wise) so it wasn’t something I was excited to eat again. Chipotle heard our cries, saw the reactions on Twitter and decided to mess with the recipe a bit.

After the recipe changed, they tried to give it away for FREE on Tuesday to people who were wearing “cheesy Christmas sweaters”. I saw this promotion all over Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and I even got a text about it from Chipotle. Yes, I’m on the Chipotle text list, I don’t want to miss out on free burritos. The problem was, I don’t think a lot of people realized they had tweaked the recipe so they thought Chipotle was trying to give away the original queso, that wasn’t a hit, for free. Twitter let them have it…..
