I know, I know, it’s still a little over 2 weeks away, but Justin Timberlake has been working on his halftime routine for the Super Bowl, and he released a little behind-the-scenes video that takes us into what’s happening during the show.
He says that he’s going to “have the stage for [him]self,” so it seems unlikely that he’ll be joined by, say, Janet Jackson? We can hope they’ll surprise us with a show, obviously everyone has been talking about that “incident” from the 2004 show. He also said that he’s going to treat this show as if it were his first time, despite being his 3rd career halftime gig.
“I am getting an opportunity to have the stage to myself… I believe it’s also the place where there’s nothing wrong with giving people what they want… For 12 or 13 minutes, we’ll have a really good time.”
Check out the behind-the-scenes video just below:

It happens on February 4th, and will probably be one of the most-watched events on TV this year. We think. It’ll be an interesting show for sure.
Regarding “that thing” with Janet Jackson, well, Justin says that the two of them have “made peace” about it. He says that he and Janet talked about it, and then added that a lot of people don’t seem to be aware that the two of them have already worked everything out. So, public service announcement, he and Janet are all-good. And to be honest, we’d love to see a surprise appearance. Maybe if they did the same song, in the same outfits? That’d be funny, but would very likely stress out the broadcasters. We’ll see what happens though.
