The 81st annual MLB All-Star game was held at Angels Stadium in Anaheim Ca, Tuesday. The game which was slated to be a pitchers battle did not disappoint. Through the game the American League held together a 1-0 lead up until the top of the 7th when 2010 All-Star MVP Brian McCann drove in 3 runs with a base clearing double snapping a 13 year National League drought give them for the first time home field advantage, since the MLB has switch to the format. The game did have its somber moments however, paying respects to Yankees owner George Steinbrenner and the voice of Yankee Stadium Bob Sheppard whom both died earlier in the week.
