Carell pink slips "The Office"

It’s a sad day for all you fans of the hit NBC show “The Office” as it looks like Steve Carell will not be returning to an eighth season. His contract was for seven seasons, which ends in 2011. It looks as if he will be able to devote more time to his movie career. Carell voiced the character Gru in “Despicable Me” which hits theaters next week.
