Off The Market – Ed Sheeran Reveals He Got Engaged! [PIC]
Ed Sheeran broke the news that he and his girlfriend got engaged just before the new year, and a list of what to do after getting engaged.

Congratulations to Ed Sheeran on your engagement!
He and his girlfriend-now-fiancee Cherry Seaborn have been dating for a couple years officially, but have actually known each other for quite some time – since high-school. They attended the same school together, but she later moved across the ocean to North Carolina to go to school. In 2015 when Ed stopped in New York on tour, he met up with some friends, and he and Cherry got reintroduced. Apparently they hit it off pretty well, and kept it a secret for a little bit before the “dating” rumors started.
Fast forward about two years later, and Ed finally revealed that just before the new year, he popped the question, and he and Cherry are tying the knot this year. Now it makes sense when Ed told us that 2018 is going to be boring for us. Well, exciting for him, but not for us, since there won’t be much in the way of new content. That’s what he said, anyway.
Why did it take him so long to come out with the information? Well, he was probably checking off the “things to do as soon as you get engaged list:”
He probably told his parents pretty quickly.
We don’t think he got a manicure, but maybe Cherry did. You know, to show off the ring in pictures.
We got the ring selfie (sort of) – that’s next on the list. See the picture above. So the ring’s not in the shot, but it’s sort of the “announcement” photo, right?
Following that is “Take a breather.” That sounds like what he said the start of his 2018 is going to be anyway.

But let’s learn about Cherry now. As we mentioned earlier, she went to college here in the States, at Duke University in North Carolina. They met in high school, but didn’t start dating until several years later in 2015. She loves a good game of hockey! She helped her college team make it to a pair of runner-up finishes. Remember when Ed took a break from music in 2016? It was for her. They’ve been living together for an undisclosed amount of time, but it’s been for at least a year. His song “Perfect” is actually about her, and we heard this morning in the “End Game” song by Taylor Swift where he also sings, listen to his lyrics and you’ll hear messages about her as well. She’s always been “the one” as well, according to Ed. He says that despite being “in the industry,” he’s a “hometown boy” and wouldn’t date someone who is an actress or performer, etc. Check out all the details about Cherry and Ed’s relationship here.
